is it worth me using win xp 64bit

i'm doing a reinstall fresh onto a bigger HDD wondered if there would be any benefits of me using my 64 bit version over the 32 bit i'm currently on.
my rig is in the sig

Skip XP 64bit. If you're going to use 64Bit software you might as well use Windows 7 64bit

With your setup you wouldn't see much, if any, improvement at all. I don't see the harm in going for 64-bit XP if you want to stick with XP - I've never had a problem with it (providing you have drivers for all your hardware for XP 64-bit).

I'd recommend Windows 7 64-bit though, as suggested above.
