I have just received a new computer system and am wondering if I should overclock it.
I have read some posts around the internet that this system doesn't need it as it is fast enough already but I would like to if worthwhile as I have down to my three previous computers.

Any advice and tips gratefully received.

This is my system:-
ASUS ROG STRIX B560-F GAM WIFI
2x16G CorsVengLPX DDR4 3000C16
INTEL i9-11900K

The CPU does have water cooling.

Just curious, what water cooling do you have? I ask because "water cooling" has many variables in ability, same as "air cooling" does. ;)

Don't think you can overclock on a B560 atleast not all core OCs as you need a Z board for that.

Just make sure any power limits are removed and XMP is set on the memory etc.

Yep - Honestly I can't understand why people get the top end SKUs and cheap out on B series boards...

Honestly it's a good and fast CPU out the box. Overclocking will gain some performance but I wouldn't be swapping motherboards to do so.

^^^ This.

Most of the benefits come from Turbo boost. The days of the Celeron 300A stratospheric overclocks are long gone!
