Hi all, i'm currently on a rolling sim only 1 month contract of around 25 quid pm for 5gig of data and 600/600 mins/voice with o2. However, given that there's no phone included in that, i'm thinking it's actually rather pricey and that i could potentially do better.

Is it worth haggling with them??

Well considering you can go on there website and get 20GB and unlimited texts and minutes for £20 a month, yes!

Ace - that'll do nicely. Just upgraded online, piece of cake. Now locked into a 12 month contract but that's ok, given that i've been with o2 for years and have no intention of leaving or changing my phone for the forseeable! :)

Ring up and threaten to leave.
I've found O2 useless for upgrades...They will give you same deals as for new.have asked for PAC and they never bothered offering anything..Now am sim only with 6gb for 12£ ;)
Waiting for one plus 5

I changed from an o2 Sim only deal to Tesco Mobile Sim only and they use o2 coverage.
Pay £12.50 a month for 1000 mins/5000 texts & 2GB Data.
But if you want cheaper Sainsbury's were offering it for £10 about a month ago?

I recently changed to BT Mobile, its pointless hoping for "loaylty" discounts now from any company in my eyes.
Talk with yer feet and leave lol

£16 a month gets me Unl Mins Unl Txts and 15GB of Data and I received £40 of amazon Vouchers and £60 cashback thru Quidco
Under £100 for the year, cant complain at that :)

Just ordered me phone too, Moto Z @£300, so under 400 for a new phone and a year of use.
Pretty much all the contracts with handsets are now 24 month and some being 40+ Pfft Ill pass
