Is it worth to purchase mifi mobile broadband or purchase a router then use a unlimited data plan s

Hi,

As the title suggests, I currently already have a three mobile contract with unlimited data plan. Since I am moving to a new property with no fixed phone line and the best option is to get a mobile broadband.

I am thinking if the internet speed and performance is the same as carrying out another three mifi mobile broadband package, wouldn’t it be better just for me to use my unlimited sim card and buy a router which supports 3 network and use that.

What is the speed like on a daily basis?
If there is a significant speed difference then i think i will opt for the mifi as I do have a bit of devices, mainly Wi-Fi.

Lines are usually installed free or for minimal cost (£10 etc). I would usually take a fixed line over mobile if latency and reliability are a priority, the exception being if you live next to a 5G mast etc. Also check the T&C’s on your existing sim package - some networks exclude or limit usage for anything other than a tablet/mobile device, so tethering or using in a 4G router may not be officially possible. I’m not saying you can’t avoid detection, but it’s better to be aware of your official options before going forward.
