Currently my main rig is an Abit IS7-E with a 2.6 P4 running at 2.7 with 1gig of twinmos ram, gfx is a 9800 pro.
I really dont want to spend more than 200 quid for a new mobo/cpu/ram, and dont think i want to replace my GFX, as its still reasonably current, and im no longer a game fiend. I do however run virtual machines for work testing purposes. My current rig is struggling a bit, mainly because of the lack of ram. Might i just better off loading up my IS7-E with ram instead?
The limitations being, that i still want to use my IDE hard drives, my CM210 case, and other hardware, oh, and of course the restricive 200quid max budget. I have had a look at the bundles available on OCUK, but really have no idea how they stack up against my current system performance, and if it would be a worthwhile upgrade?
