Is it worth upgrading?

Hey guys,

I'm just after a little advice as currently I have a radeon 4870x2 and I'm about to start gaming on a 24" monitor. Is it worth me upgrading to a 6950?

Try a few titles first before deciding. I also have one of these cards and have found that apart from higher levels of anti-aliasing, there is nothing I can't set to the maximum, Crysis included.

I'd go fir it because a single set up is better and you get DX11 in there too

Thanks for the replies people, just about the buy the 6950 but just realised I don't know the actual size of these cards.
Does anyone know how big these cards are compared to the 4870x2 as my card barely fits into my case as it is.
Any help is much appreciated.

The 4870x2 is about 27cm, maybe a bit less. And the 6950 is just under 27 cm too so it should fit in your case.
