I'm getting close to building a new PC as my current one has zero chance of being able to run BF3. I've been looking at this as the best option for a new graphics card that will run BF3 and remain cool. But is it worth buying one now? I heard the new HD 7000 series is out in a few weeks, is it likely that they will push the price of current cards down?

Right now I have the HD 4850 512Mb which has lasted me just over 3 years. I had huge problems with cooling and the card would regularly hit 100°C, so I had to buy an akasa vortex cooler for it and that brought it down to 45°C. So excellent cooling is a must for my next one!
 
well if the rumour mill is anything to go by then the next cards will be 30%'ish faster than current gen but i just got a 6970 2GB so i wont be upgrading for at least a year ^^
 
Hurry up hd7000 series i want to build my new rig now!!
Some of the 560ti cards can overclock beyond the performance of a 6950 for less money, maybe worth looking at them for short term?
