Is it worth upgrading?

Hi All,

I have had my system a good year now and I know things are constantly changing but when it comes to PC's I am not exactly in the loop nor have the know-how. So the question is: What exactly on my current spec is worth upgrading and would I see significant gains?

Current spec is as follows:
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T
CPU: i5 4670K @ 4.3GHz
MOBO: MSI Z87-G43 Gaming Series
GPU: Sapphire AMD R9 290 Tri-X 4906MB
RAM: TeamGroup Vulcan Gold 2x4GB 2133MHz
Memory: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
Samsung 840 EVO 250gb
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
PSU: Super Flower 550W PSU

I think the better question to ask (in my new found wisdom of trying not to spend so much money) is:

What is my computer not doing that i want it to do?

The reason I have asked is because I am trying to ensure it is ready for newer games when they are released (Fallout 4 to be precise) being an avid gamer I want to ensure I can see these games in all their beauty.

the system should be fine if you really wanted extra power for games you only upgrade would be another 290 and psu or a 980ti
