People on these forums talk about the new versions of the ati and nvidia cards coming out soon and I am planning on upgrading my card in the next 2-3 months.

Can anyone really say with any certainty that the new ones will come out in that time or should I just upgrade now.

Some peoples posts sound like they are coming out any day now but are these people just guessing or what?
 
More then likely guessing, but there is a countdown on the nvidia website, and something is going to be revealed on the 12th.. might be worth waiting till then if you decide on a purchase because it could be a new nvidia card

GeForce GTX 460

October will probably be the release of new ati 6xxx, personally I would wait.
