I was going to buy my i5 760 build but then I found out sandy bridges standard clock is miles higher, is it worth waiting and will it be costing more like a pricey mobo such as £150 etc?

The stock clock means little, due to overclocking (actually only the K series really allows us to overclock at a 10 - 15 pounds price premium as far as is known currently).

BUT, the fact it clocks further and is faster clock for clock (aroud 15 percent) that could be worth it...

I think the boards are rumored to be about 100 pounds, and the chips between 160 and - 180... but if this is the case or not, who the heck knows.

wait for the OcUK overclocked sandy bridge cpu bundles. See whats in store before laying out the cash, good chance if you order now you probably wont get before 9th jan anyway with xmas less then a week away and new year not far behind

I'd say wait, having just been on shop and seen theyre running down all the stock of P55 stuff and theyve already put the SB sections up, nothing in em yet but Id wait if it were me
