is it worth waiting?

I don't think its worth paying the extra for custom coolers, the reference cooler on the gtx680 is pretty quiet anyway.

All the 680's overclock pretty much the same atm from what I can tell.

Aye, it even has higher clocks than the MSI for £10 less.

Can't find any reviews on it though

no the MSI isn't fully overclocked yet, you do that at home, ive seen some that are miles higher and unfortunately a few that arent...so it's a bit of this and that.

gpu 1250Mhz

memory 1850mhz

volts about 1.25 to 1.3

The same can be said for the KFA2...

Voltage on those 680s is limited to 1.21 max or something like that by something physical on the pcb.

Seems with drivers/bios though cards won't go that high. There's a hydrocopper on yt running heaven and the voltage will not go above 1.175

1.175v is the max for now :(

no no i'm being sarcastic, i'm taking the **** mate....flipping heck , it's you that's upgrading to a 690, hallo is anyone there

yes i know, but i had second thoughts quite a long time before i chose the 7970.... what killed me, was the realisation that using a tv meant that a 690 was a waste of time anyway, because i'm limited to 100 Htz, which means 100fps, so there's no point worrying about 120, 200 or 360 fps... ( sharp 60'' led)

i love the tv, absolutely love it, so there's no way for future proofing that i need anything bigger than the 7970.

finally, the GTX 685 AINT COMING Out

You're still limited to 60Hz on a 60Hz tv or a 100000hz tv. The SCREEN/SOFTWARE replays the 60hz frame ten times so it is technically 600hz but it is not true 120hz like the monitors that are available here
