Imo he Is a GOAT.
Imo he Is a GOAT.
GOAT? yesGOAT? No. Greatest this decade? Yes
Yes he is. Been the greatest driver since he came into the sportGreatest of all time? He's not even the greatest on the current grid.
Yes he didBy MV I assume you mean Max? Did Lewis have a charity/ etc when he was 24?
Imo Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT of f1 and that's my opinion.Indeed maybe the thread title does need changing, and maybe the definition of GOAT needs clarifying.
We are in the Motorsport forum.
The thread is titled "Is Lewis Hamilton the GOAT"
Obviously thread title then enquiring is Lewis Hamilton the GOAT of Motorsport.
And the answer is extremely clearly NO.
No one is saying Hamilton is a bad driver, he is an extremely good driver, but in no way is he, or will he ever be, the GOAT of motorsport, or F1.
To me, to become the GOAT by any meanigful metric, a driver must hold a record that can never ever beaten, evee again, thus making them the Greatest Of ALL TIME.
Every stat where Lewis is currently number one, could obe day in the future be beaten one day by another driver. How many people thought Schumacher's records would never be beaten, yet they have.
As I have said previously the GOAT of Motorsport is clearly John Surtees, his record will never be beaten, as he is the only one ever to be world champion in two different forms of Motorsport.
IF you want to change thread to who is the GOAT of F1.
Then again that answer is very simple
It is Juan Manuel Fangio.
Again with a record that will never be beaten.
World Champion five times in four different teams.
We have had a few (Prost, Schumacher, Hamilton) becoming World Champion in two different teams, but no one will ever do it in four teams again.
So whichever way you word it Hamilton is a great driver, but never the GOAT.
So Ronaldo and Messi are not goat contenders either because of how average they are currently playing in football? GotchaWell it's Russell's first few races in a completely new team, in comparison to someone who's known that team inside out for many many years, as said this is a discussion about if Ham is a Goat. Not just, is he better than his team mate. If you are a goat shouldn't you be consistently proving yourself to be a fair bit quicker than a new team mate? I know it's still very early in the season, but I don't think anyone can saying Lewis is doing well so far.
How so? Both are not as great as before. This analogy makes zero sense, but that is not surprising from you.
No, it makes your comments look pathetic and sillyAgain, it's silly dismissive comments like this that makes the argument for Hamilton being a goat as being completely undermined.
LOL exactly. There’s too much sense in this post for it to be in this thread.
7 time world champion vs 0 for Russell.13th
Ok hands up I’ve watched Nico commentate all weekend and I’ll 100% agree here, wow he really was sticking the knife in every time he could. Ive also kept an eye on Lewis all weekend , mentally I don’t think he’s in a good place. Today will only compound it.
How so?? I think you got the wrong end of the stick there? I was giving `CaptainRave some credit on an earlier post in this thread.
Who are we referring to not being in a good place?Lmfao... Just absolute lmfao... Every year every mmm single year people say this, and every single year they are shown totally and utterly to looking like absolute utter total unequivocal nonsense mullets.
