So Ive been looking at this the last week wondering if I should buy it, so is it worth it?, also is there any other good RPG's that are worth a play?, Ive allready got DA, ME1+2, Fallout 3, and I do have Oblivion but don't like it, and whats the best mods for Fallout 3, and by that I mean to make it look better

Thanks

Of course Magicka is worth it Im looking for a nice gameplay vid on it but cant find it atm.

I bought magicka when it first came out, it's ok but only with friends. it's pretty boring on your own and once you find a spell that works that is all you will use for 99% of enemies in the game,

If you're after an in depth RPG avoid it, it's nothing like that

Really?, hmm I don't really game with friends much, so it might get boring, might pick up Fallout: NV, or Borderlands GOTY instead

Its £7.99, why would you expect an in depth RPG?

I enjoyed in single player, played through it 3 times. Felt like it was worth every penny.

Thanks Fenris, I did look on there but being soo many mods it confused me lol

The majority are rubbish, naturally, however generally speaking the "top" files are worth a look.

Best bet is to check the top 100 on the right which gives the 25 most endorsed recently, then go to "Most endorsed files of all-time" under Top Lists and choose your category for more specific stuff.

In terms of looks I would look for NMC's texture pack and Fellout, there are many others but those two are what I would call base line for general environment looks.

Cheers guys, I might wait for Magicka to go on sale, I know its only £8 but theres someother games I want, now Ive got another question, I'm thinking of downloading the 2.67gb full NMC texture pack, but do you think my XPS laptop will handle it?, it as the i7-240qm, and GT 435m 2gb in it?, I know my PC can handle it :D

Oh, have you tried torchlight? That ones really fun and a lot longer with much more depth (literally :p) than magicka.

Honestly I don't know, I never really noticed a performance hit with the texture pack myself, if the laptop can run the vanilla game at a decent level it should be fine.

To be sure just make a backup of your F3 data folder before you add any mods, then if you run into issues delete and replace and you won't have to reinstall to get the original files back.

Oh also another mod worth getting is EVE - Energy Visuals Enhanced, if you like energy weapons it's an amazing mod, it is however a resource hog.

Cheers Fenris (I'm guessing you like the VI Legion? :D), and I'll have a look, also will Fellout, and the mods designed to work with it also work with NMC, or will I have to use Fellout and other mods separate from NMC?

Both mods do different things, NMC's is purely textures so changes the look of objects and materials, Fellout just removed the weird camera filter that makes everything green, you will only have problems if you download two or more mods that change the same thing, some overwrite others and there are ways of getting around occasional conflicts but this only really becomes a necessity when you are using a lot of mods, mostly they just sort themselves out.

Thats cool, I guess I can download them all and try, also just noticed a problem with Fallout 3, it won't let me patch it, it won't run, and it will only show up when I go into my HDD using windows explorer
