Is mcafee internet firewall and anti-virus stable???

Well I've used nothing but for the last 3 years and has never failed me yet, never hung, warns me of any activity, I swear by it.
 
Thanks its just as well on my dads computer he uses IE and hes got pop up blockers and stuff and he still gets hundreds of pop ups??
 
Check the blockers configuration to see what it is doing.

I would not expect him to be getting any significant amount if set up correctly.

Perhaps install the google toolbar and see what their pop up blocker does.
