is mcafee security centre anygood?

will come supplied on my new laptop.
usualy i bin what comes supplied and pop microsoft security essentials on. am i doing the right thing?

I would say that you are doing a good thing by getting rid of McAfee and replacing it with MSE. MSE/Avast would be my free security programs. NOD32 paid for.

Do you have a hardware firewall/router?

on my current pc i have. MSE / MBAM & spybot.
but on the new laptop i would get 15months free of mcafee security centre. this is why i need to know if its any good?
