Well no they're not a top brand. I'm sure you could have guessed that from the price. There's no reason why it shouldn't be a decent screen though. The actual LCD panels are only made by a few companies worldwide so this could well have the same panel as a more expensive recognized brand.

Where it may fall down is build quality, features, software, ergonomics, styling etc, stuff like that and I suppose it would be more likely to have technical issues/flaws than a top brand (although plenty of top brands have them too and there's no such thing as a perfect TV). The actual specs on paper are fine btw, and it has all the inputs you should need. If you're asking will it look as good as say a Sony, probably not.

Hopefully an extensive web search will help you decide, although it's often surprisingly hard to find reviews of TVs.

any linkage available to read about that?

or is it against the rules?

Cheers,

G

/edit also how do you think this would be with games? if I used this to replace my pc monitor.

Nah, avforums isn't a competitor. Big thread about Mirai here or just go to the LCD forum there and do a search-

http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433272

Only thing with using it to replace a PC monitor is the pixel size is obviously a lot bigger. 1366 x 768 spread over 32 inches. Response time should be good enough for gaming (6.5 ms).

The boys over at AV forums also swear by Mirai, cant get a more ringing endorsement then that.

Not really - they are members just like us.
You'll be surprised how many 'experts' have been banned off there over the years.

Think my cousin has that exact screen, and he thinks the sky digital quality on it is poor. Especially after he saw sky on my samsung, but mines 26" not 32" so maybe that's one reason why the picture on mine appears a lot clearer? He got it for a very decent price aswel so it's probably worth it but for something like an LCD TV I would never go for a cheap unheard of brand.

My brother has a mirari tv, it's crap, and french.

Its great and its dutch.

I've got the DTL 527-200 (27" version) and the picture on it is fantastic. My brother took his 26" Samsung back after seeing the picture quality and got himself a Mirai too. :D
PC works great 1:1 over vga and the hdmi slot.

You also get2 year collect and return warranty, don't see anyone else offering that.
