Is MSI AfterBurner flawed? Or is my cooling just pretty good?

Hey guys,

Just on the PC right now..it is cold in the house granted..but my MSI AB is showing idle temps (well internet browsing, spotify, Discord etc.) of around 27-28 degrees on teh GPU and around 31-32 degrees on the CPU?

Surely these are too low to be accurate?? I mean nothing feels out the ordinary or that, just strange at what AB is telling me?

Sounds perfectly normal if the ambient room temp is cold.

I’ve had CPUs idle under 20 and GPUs high 20s in a cool room.

awesome, thanks for the input..just wanted to clarify..

tbf, the case is super for airflow and I do have a 360mm AIO on the CPU, overkill buy hey...

sorry..
4070ti and a 5700X3D CPU.
GPU idle temp is low, but if the room is very cold and you're not browsing anything with video then it is not impossible.

CPU idle temp is also low, would expect another 5-10 degrees minimum, but again if the room is cold and you're at 'proper' idle (not easy to achieve nowadays) then it is fine.

yeah, it is very cold in this house with the heating!

and yeah, thats when im doing very little on the system. it seems to peak the GPU under load at mid 60's and the CPU high 40's.

I think my case is helping a lot as it has two 140mm fans in the bottom pushing cool air straight into the GPU. its the NZXT H6 Flow. looks nice too!
