I have been trying to get my head around this but i am sure that MSi is taking us for a run for are money, the reason why i said that is because both the card looks the same but maybe there is more on the board that i would not be able to tell unless some has taken of the HSF.

I noticed that there have the same card on sale, What is the differents or is it just higher clock speed? Have they improved the components on the board???

MSI GeForce GTX 460 HAWK "Super-OC" 1024MB

MSI GeForce GTX 460 HAWK "Talon Attack" 1024MB

The Talon Attack version has a "cherry-picked" GPU chip, so overclock is more likely to hit above 950MHz, whereas the standard HAWK, the GPU chip is randomly pick, so whether you land a good overclock chip that will hit over 950MHz, or a poorer chip that would not go beyond 900MHz is purely depended on luck.

okay kool and thanks for the reply, so that is how they are making there money, now i guess we will soon be seening the 1Ghz cherry pick GPU, since they like to boast that you can get that, but i have never seen any that is that rating...
