Is Mummification Illegal?

Just say I died and in my will I requested to be mummified. Assuming you found someone to do it, could I?

you may want to state what type of mummification you want, as there are many methods of mummification.

Well I was thinking the traditional Egyptian way of doing it. But yes the whole shebang. Even get myself a tomb and all.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Brier, he mummified someone in America in 1994 ,so it maybe legal there, but you better start your pyramid building project now if you want it done in time especially if you are using traditional methods.

I'd prefer to be flash-frozen but I'm sure it'd cost a fair amount of cash. Not that I'm worried how much I'd be leaving kids but whether I could afford that and the retirement I'd want at the same time.

Even a small chance of being brought back to life in the future is worth the investment

The whole Egyptian way on he over hand... donno why anyone would want to do that. To leave a mark in history maybe?
