Is my 2080 Ti dying?

Without rhyme or reason I'm getting a black screen and the GPU fans go 100%. I can still hear windows audio no problem. EVGA card never overclocked or used for mining.

Is happening constantly now. I can't see it being PSU related crashes because windows is still running fine.

I have been through several driver versions also so I'm fairly confident it's not that.

It's annoying if so because I was still happy with the performance..

Run hwinfo in the background and check temps, fans speeding up is often a bad OC. If it crashes on desktop.....I am not sure if there is memory error checking, if it does, it'll show up in hwinfo.

I'm having a similiar issue; I have a 2080Ti that is watercooled and all of a sudden it won't output via any of the ports. If I turn the machine off and then on; I get a black screen and I can still hear windows audio. If I hit the power button it shuts down properly. If i leave it a day and power it on it works. Very bizzare. Once it's running, it's fine. I've had this card for about 4+ years and even for the kind of games I play at 1440p it's fine so I'm loathe to spend a fortune on replacement.

What would even be a good replacement for a 2080 these days for 1440p?
You could look at the new Arc B580. TPU's GPU database has it pretty much bang on with a 2080 Super, though slower than the Ti.

The Intel card may have poor(er) performance if you don't have rebar, so wouldn't recommend in that case.
