Is my 2600k okay?

The first two pics on the screenshot show my CPU bouncing between 3.5GHz and 1.5GHz while I only had cpuz running. Is this normal?

Also, when I right click "My Computer" it shows up that its running at 3.7GHz. I have not messed with anything as of yet.

Is this normal?

it will be speedstep reducing the speed and power usage of the cpu while its not under load

edit* is the version of cpuz upto date? off the top of my head the lower speed of a 2600k at default is 1.6ghz it may be that the mobo your using generates a slightly slower speed say 1.599ghz which may be reported by cpuz as 1.5? just guessing though

Perfectly normal. It varies depending on CPU load.

You can stop it doing it by disabling C1E and C6/C3 in the BIOS, if you want. But your CPU will run slightly hotter at idle.
