Is my 3090 dead?

I'm sure they are perfectly fine, it's just that whenever I have needed to buy a PSU there are better ones for similar money.

Hope you get it sorted OP.

what exactly is wrong with Corsair PSUs?
Been running Corsair PSU for 10+ years and never had trouble?

@_ds how is your RMA going mate.

Hope you are making progress.
As far as im aware they had a bad batch of their 1000w+ psu's, cant remember exactly which ones but aside from that their is nothing wrong with them. They're great psu's tbh.

HX1000s it was an I got one of the exploding ones lol. RMA'ed it and sold the sealed replacement and bought a Superflower instead as lost the trust.

The HX1200i issue was not about exploding, none of them ever exploded, that recall was because the system would not boot - you'd plug the psu in and the pc would simply not start up

Maybe the recall was but I sure had an HX1000 go kablammo in a big way. Massive capacitor ripped a load of others off inside the psu with lot of smoke. Found others with same issue. Normally I would replace a cap if it is just 1 but yeah lost a few other surface mounted items too.
Damn I’m using a HX1000 Platinum. No issues with it so far, touch wood.

So there was a recall for the HX1000, got a link?

Only reason I went with Corsair PSU was to get power usage reading in windows. Are there other brands that can do that.?

I like that I can see the details (power in, power out) from my Corsair Rmi 1000 . I didn't have a PSU before that I could get details from (in this case, using icue)

Wow bet you crapped yourself when that went off haha! I've only ever had one that exploded and sparked its nuts off, that was a Seasonic 850w. Seasonic replaced under warranty and i sold it on.

Asus ROG have ones with a power draw reading on the side via a screen. Pretty handy if your psu isn't covered by a shroud by your case.

Ah i didn't know icue could do that, i literally only use icue for my ram.
