Is my 360 broken? ( Pink tint via VGA and no image via composite?)

I get a pink tinted screen via VGA and no image at all via composite, audio works fine. I know it's not the cables or TV's at fau;t as I have tried them with another 360 console but I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere that I've missed out on? The somposite cable is definitely switched to "TV".

Think it's dead mate, i bought a new core from a store, plugged it in, it updated then the screen went a yellow tint.
Tried different cables/tv/monitor, in the end i had sound but no picture, just a black screen with white dots.
Went back to the shop and got it replaced, new one going great now.

It appears to be working fine now, could it have been a random error because of the cold boot or do you think the problem will happen again?
