Is my 360 knackered

Hi,

Playing away tonight when the game action sounds and the menu plonks have disappeared, I can't hear footsteps but can hear the game background sounds.

Any ideas?

Also my NAT has gone to moderate if that makes any difference as it's usually open.

Moderate. Could be because of different router. Sound issues sound cable/tv related

Can you be more precise, cable become loose out of xbox?

Try a different cable? Don't see how the router settings would affect how your game sounds.

... especially if it was a single player game.

I was referring to NAT. He has mentioned NAT so doubt it's SP. I didn't mean sound is router related. Just his connection

I don't know why he mentioned how strict his NAT is if he has a sound problem though?

He needs to try several games/install to HDD to determine it's not a dodgy disk or something, and if it's a problem in other games too then he needs to try a different cable imo.
