Hi,

Just loaded up Crysis and im getting lots of gfx corruption all over the place (system unclocked). Display eventually locks up or comp restarts. RA3 is not starting at all, just get a black screen but i hear that a game related issue. I have tracked it down to when i run games in full screen, if i run any game in full screen i get lots of corruption but in a window its just fine



my gfx is running at a cool 47oC idle and 68oC under full load.

It must be driver related if its from running in full screen, I must admit I had that crysis issue the other day on my 4850 crossfire, just exited and loaded it again and was fine. Another thing I get is flickering textures while in fullscreen on Very High settings, however I get none while in a window or running medium or lower . Very wierd, dodgy ATI drivers.

However yours seems to be happening all the time, you tried reinstalling your drivers (using driver sweeper to clean the system). Might it be a PSU problem? (I'm asking others to answer that).

Make sure you've properly cleaned out the old ones and installed the latest drivers from ATi.

Out fo curiosity and to rule it out what psu do you have and how old is it. I would definately try a new install of drivers before looking too hard at the card and maybe install just the drivers not the ccc software at first and see if that makes a difference if you don't already have it you can get driversweeper from the guru3d site .
