I'm not terribly well versed in Haswell E but this morning I decided to give the Alienware a bit of a shove. Now I've not pushed on because I am more than happy with what I got, but I managed the following..
Multi X42
Voltage 1.2v max (EIST and so on are all enabled)
I ran Asus Cinebench R15 and scored around 1180. I then ran Asus Realbench and got the most insane multi threaded score and throughout the entire test I only hit 67c. At first it did not seem right because my 3970x @ 4.7ghz would idle at 42c and max out at 75c on a H110 but yeah, seems solid.
Bear in mind I am only running a single thick single 120mm AIO that is akin to a H55, so temps seem awfully low to me !
Any thoughts? I've left it as is because everything seems to pass through OK with no errors.
