Is my 6950 TOXIC running properly?

Hi,
I've just installed my new Sapphire 6950 TOXIC and I'm not sure if it's all running quite as it should be. I've not got any functional problems, i.e. it all powers up fine, no corruption or crashing but I'm not sure if the performance is correct.
I've run the Heaven benchmark as on the big thread in here and got these results.

Firstly I don't know if that a decent score for my system (see sig for spec) but I think it's at least ok.
My main uncertanty is that I don't seem to be able to change that score at all. I got that score with my cpu at stock and with the 6950 out of the box, since then I have over clocked the cpu to 3.3GHz, switched to the 6970 BIOS on the 6950 (GPU-Z reports that the extra shaders have unlocked ok) and upped the PowerTune limits in the CCC to +50% but I still get the same score (+/- 10) each time I rerun the benchmark?
In the CCC I have everything set to Application Control and I have tried running with my 2nd monitor disabled as well with no effect.

Is there something else that could be bottlenecking me or am I worrying over nothing?

Many Thanks,

Ross

unless you're overclocking the card you should be ok for +20% on powertune, if overclocking then stick it up to +50%.

I haven't run any benchmarks on mine yet(Q6600@3ghz for the cpu and pc2-6400 800mhz ddr2 ram).

I can show you my results with the £200 version of the card.

So is something holding it back? not much of an increase for the extra £. I was running at 1080p as well. Wonder what I would score if I ran this on my 1680x1050 screen like your score was ran on.

I did another test at 1680x1050 like yours with my:

It is indeed running quicker. Think some tech minded guys need to step in and help as for the extra £30-£40 that card should blow me away. Have you checked drivers etc? In fact I have not checked my drivers for awhile now.

Thanks Voorhees, did you have any AA turned on for that run, might account for some of the extra speed yours has?

Driverwise I've re-installed the latest Catalyst 11.8 ones and checked everything else I can find on the system and it looks like everything is up to date.
The base speed being a bit off is obviously annoying but the real puzzling thing is that none of the changes I've made seem to change the scores?

Fowler002, I did originally have PowerTune at 20% (as per that HardOCP review) but I thought I'd try +50% as well just in case but made no difference :(

You are correct I forgot AA. New tests with AA, not much difference from first test at 1680x1050. Anyway first up is 1920x1080 then bottom is 1680x1050.

I think your machine should be pushing more with that card, But your MAX FPS is more. So maybe it is right after all.

Thanks a lot for that VoorHees, at least my score doesn't look seriously out, still very puzzled why it doesn't change when I overclock or change the bios though.
