Is my AC7 Pro working properly?

Right, I have a E8400 non-overclocked CPU and my idle temps are 48C on both Cores, i'm using Speed-Fan to check the temps, is Speed-Fan monitoring the temps properly? or do I have a sort-of faulty CPU cooler?

Dont use speedfan us core temp or real temp instead

Also make sure that your bios hasn't got a profile running to make the CPU cooler quiet, and therefore making the CPU cooler fan run slower. In Asus bios it's called Quiet Fan or something

How much thermal paste did you put on? Applying the right amount in the right place can make a huge difference to temps.
