Is my Audigy 2 ZS outdated?

I never had issues with this card,it has served me pretty well for 1.5 years.I installed CoD2 (running vista)and on the sound options the only available option is Miles 2d,instead of EAX 2 and EAX 3(latest vista drivers installed).Do you think that I need a new card(X-Fi?)?I havent heard good things about X-Fi and vista,and there are so many versions out there which makes it difficult to choose from.

Creative have just released a revised set of drivers that should hopefully fix the issues. Not had any games on yet but I will try. I upgraded from an Audigy to my X-Fi Fatal1ty about a year ago, and I must say, that when working, the difference is simply outstanding.

If I decide to go for a X-Fi Ill get the Extreme gamer OEM,its pretty cheap and I dont want to pay the extra money for the fatality series.What do you think,is it better thn my Audigy 2 ZS?

Your Audigy2zs is not outdated and an Xfi OEM would be a waste of money.
