Is my case large enough?

Do you have the model number of your case? After a quick google, there are a couple of versions.

However, that board is a standard ATX - so it should fit fine if the case is advertised to support boards of this size.

It also looks like a reasonably thick case - so you should be OK with the CPU cooler. Out of interest, which cooler do you think you will be going for?

Ive got a thermaltake tsunami, which i think is the predecessor to your case. My motherboard is a full ATX size and its quite a snug fit. Its not particularly cramped, but i did have to insert the board at an angle when fitting it. Its large graphics cards you have to watch out for in cases like these. I have a reference board 5770 and theres about half an inch clearance between the end of the board and the start of the hard drive (the cables do overlap a bit). I think the max length you could fit in there without modding is about 9"

hope that helps :)

Thats actually going to bring me onto my next question. Im going for an i5 build, will by Tuniq Tower fit?

Says its just for AMD AM2 & AMD S-Series + INTEL LGA775.

yeah, that could be a slight problem. Depends on if you have the windowed version with the side fan or not. Again, im running a zalman 9700. Its 142mm high apparently, and theres about 8-10mm clearance from the side fan.

If its the non windowed version, then i reckon most coolers should fit

I have the windowed version and my tower is about 30 or 40mm away from the window. My fairly certain it will fit but my concern is if it fits the actual processor? I have a feeling that the socket type isnt on the box because 1135 and 1153 wasn't around when i bought the cooler but also need to be sure so i can order one when i order my other new goodies :D

if its not supported out the box, then you can usually buy the appropriate bracket for somewhere (*cough* ebay).

again, the 9700 is about 3 years old now, but zalman do make brackets for it to support all the latest and greatest socket (i bought mine around march this year, so all these brackets came supplied anyway)

May as well just buy a properly fitting new cooler. Not worth spending £350 on an upgrade to attach some brackets to it when i could just spend £390 and get a decent, properly fitting cooler.

There was one more thing i wanted to ask but i cant remember it at the moment.
