Hey guys. Just received my fx6300 yesterday and after doing a few benchmarks i only gained 5-10fps depending on what game.
Do i need a better card than the saphire hd5770 ? Or is my computer due for a fresh install ?

Full system spec is in sig
Cheers

If the 5770 was from your old rig, theres you answer. a CPU alone won't give you more FPS..

What CPU did you have before?

If you've changed your motherboard a fresh install is adviced, though it won't affect your FPS.

Hi, I had a amd phenom ii x2 550 be 3.1 before, same gpu, ram, mobo ext.

I just upgraded the cpu.

So the gpu is holding my system back ?

What budget gpu is the best ? Under £100, And has to be amd because they are the bestest! Lol..

Now now nvidia whores keep your socks on I was only joking ;)

Doesn't the 7850 kill the 650Ti?

Yes, but the OP asked for a card under a £100. And you can`t get a 7850 for under £100, so the 7770( as his preference was for AMD) or the 650ti(Nvidia alternative) is his best bet, for his budget.
I offered the "B" grade 7850, in case he could up his budget and gave him the comparison links to see it`s worth.

The 7850 is a nice card, would be my pick in this price range. The 650Ti would come second for me ahead of the 7770.

In answer to your first point.... every computer 'bottlenecks' somewhere! Got to be a slowest part, it may vary depending what you're doing.
