Is my cooling OK for these temps?

Hey guys,

Sorry to post anotehr thread on this..but I just finished a sesh on The Division 2 there..

I quit the game, and went into Afterburner, and my GPU was at : peak 73c and the CPU : 63 peak (not including the slpit secnd spikes)..

Anyway, I checked the thermostat in my room and is at 25c.. so are these temps reasonable for the temp in the room..and to add..my GPU isnt the greatest cooler on earth and was at arund 90% fan speed

But I cannot hear in anyway when gaming with my headphones. So not really an issue atm..

Cheers.

Nice!

CPU looks okay; maybe run Prime95 for 15 minutes keeping an eye on temps. If it gets near to 90C then might want to consider better cooling.

GPU looks a little warm, but not so that I'd worry. What's your case airflow like?

I ran AIDA 64 Extreme, and was peaking up to 91c not long after starting the stress test :( so I stopped it. I have a BeQuiet Dark Rock 4 CPU cooler, so thought that would be up to to the task?

I bumped up the fan speed to 100% at desired temperature. My air flow isnt the best, I believe due to the case..

I have a BeQuiet Pure Base 500 case, It has two 140mm intake and a single 140mm extract.

Hmm - that does seem a bit warm. Sounds to me like the CPU cooler may need to be remounted?

Yeah, I was thinking of updating my case / cooler soon anyways, might hold out until then. Will that be safe to do so?

The system is virtually for gaming only, so the stress on the CPU isnt obvisously at full whack!

Although the Pure Base 500 a good case the airflow has to be pretty bad with that solid front.

Honestly, I went from a more enclosed noise blocking case to a high airflow one due to high temps, and with good fan tuning, high airflow cases can be just as quiet as noise dampening along with much lower temps.

90% fans on that Windforce must sound like a plane taking off, you could probably drop a lot of heat with a mesh front case. Also maybe just one 140MM exhaust not enough either.

Yeah, I thought that the airflow could be an issue :( Was considering one with a mesh front.

Yeah its pretty loud, like I said the noise isnt really an issue for my cans, but still, its too high in gereral for my liking.
