Is my CPU a bottle Neck for my Graphics Card?

Hi Guys,

I have an e6750 running at 2.66 and a Geforce GTX 285

I play games at 1900x1200 - is my CPU holding back the performace of my graphics card?

If so, do you have any suggestions for a noticeable upgrade that wont be overkill?

Get the cpu as close to 3GHZ+ and you should be ok. As it is I would say yes.

this suggests that you will only be experiencing a very small bottleneck so i wouldnt be too concerned.
Your best option is to give it a small oc.

If the games you are playing ATM are fine then I wouldn't worry about it too much. If even if you OC slightly you'll definitely see some gains in performance. Getting it to 3Ghz shouldn't be a problem and normal cooling should be adequate.
