Hi i have a H60 cooler and im getting around 15-21c on idle and about 25-32c when playing games.

im worried im gettign the wrong readings as this seems really low compared to other people that say they get 35c on idle etc.

heres pic of my Bios settings

15ºC does seem a little low unless your living somewhere in the Artic? I would download and run a different CPU temperature monitoring programme such as CoreTemp or RealTemp.

Oh, and you sig is a bit big. Should be a max of four lines, a mod may come along an delete it otherwise.:(

kk i wouldnt mind one like yours :p did you make it yourself or is it a generated one? where can i get one like it?

Those temps are much more realistic. Try running prime95 blend test/IntelBurnTest for a little while to check the load temperatures/stability if you haven't done so already.

I used the h60 was getting around 34 idle...i kept the cooler and sold my mate the board and processor he bought a h60 and is getting similar temps to you now ...i cant work it out why...What power supply are you using? as thats the only difference between what i used and what he is using now....i am confused on this too.

It can depend on many things; the amount and quality of the thermal paste used, the overclock on the cpu, the fan speed of the cooler. Aswell as factors we cannot assume. All CPU coolers are different and so are the ambiet temputatures. One more: the case cooling :)

should have just made a list

im using xfx 750 black edition PSU :D

maybe he has better air flow in his case , or faster RPM on his radiator fans, did you have a push/pull config? i found this works really well
