Is my CRT dying?

When it turns on, it makes the little vibratey noise, but I've noticed recently, i get three strip across the top parallel to each other and the top of the screen, half a mouse icon's worth, disappears, yet after about 10minutes, it sorts its self out. Is this normal, or is my 8-10 year old CRT dying

It's an iiyama Vision Master Pro450 19" btw

The bang at startup is the Auto Degauss, and the mess on screen sounds like the picture is being pulled by some source like a speaker etc near it.

Well, it is right at the top of the screen. I have my headphones up there, but they stay there, and then after awhile it goes normal!

Move the headphones and try it a few days.

That's all I can give you until you actually try somethjing.
