Im looking to build a new PC using as much as i can from my current one.

I have the following PSU -

FSP500 - 60HHN
500W PSU and says on the specs its Efficiency Level: EU 230V 80Plus

Looking at ryzen 3 1200 and a GTX 1060 build.

Looks to me that itll be ample but thought id get a second opinion, thanks!

FSP are decent brand, but the 500w that you have is actually a 432w psu.
would i want to run a 1200+1060 with it, probably not if given the choice.
would it run a 1200+1600, probably yes (without overclocking).

So getting the EVGA 450BT would be an upgrade?

sort of, but not really.
80+ on your current psu, and 80+ bronze on the 450bt
they are both in the same power range, albeit your psu is now older and probably outputs ~400w max due to normal degradation.
i can't see any reviews to compare ripple/droop etc, so unable to comment
