Now every time P lug my 200 GB external hard disk into any one 2 two computer, it is fine reading its content and pop up an small windows for opeing. But as soon as I open its content in a Explorer, the CPU run at 100% ( less than 10% when it read content). the USB driver can not be bad as it is normal using USB stick. One may argue that the 200GB disk has a lot of data and file that CPU take long time to process. But it is an 3200+ and it seems to run at 100% forever ( I at least wait for 15 minute).

Anyone has any idea

There are a lot of references in Google to iexplorer.exe (with an "r") as being spyware/malware etc. Go and get up to date copies of Spybot and Ad-aware and see what they come up with.

sorry it is explorer.exe and I believe this is the one responsible for opening windows in XP because the CPU only run at 100% when I actually open the hard disk in XP. Only in Vista, IE is not working as window opener for security reason.
