Is my folding actually working ??

Hello there.

I just set up my text console folding as per the sticky and I just wondered if it was working.
My PC has been going at it for about 10 hours now and my name hasn't appeared on the site.
I do CTRL+ALT+DEL and look at the tasks and F@H seems to only have had 2 seconds of CPU time :confused:
I look in admin, services and it does say its running.
I checked the txt log and I get this...

Then just repeat the bottom 11 seteps over and over.
I'm on Error attempt #18 at the mo !!

Any help or advice ?? :(
 
I don't understand the weird message Could not v3HTTPOpen, perhaps someone else will know.

Your name will come up on the FaH site a few hours after you have completed your first work unit.

If you download Fahmon, see this thread:

It will enable you to keep an eye on your folding client.

Also have a nose at the FaH forums, see if anybody else has had the same error message:

EDIT: Ran a search on the FaH NT/XP etc forums for your error message and got 4 results, so have a read, a couple are long threads, hope they help.:)

Well that's weird !!

Started my PC this morning and it seems to have started doing its thang :confused:

Perhaps your firewall needed to be restarted for settings to take effect.
<shrugs>
At least it's working now. :)
Install FAHmon anyway. It's a dead useful little app.
