I was just having a mess about in BF2 when this happened:

Twice while playing BF2 and once while booting into Windows.

It's around 5 months old and I got it from OcUK. When I first got it I unlocked the pipelines in it but shortly after that I re-installed Windows and haven't touched it since.

I hope it was just a one off thing and won't happen again...... But if it does do you think I'll be able to RMA it?
 
Looks like the Memory or the Core, can never remember which is which, so id say its borked, but if you've unlocked to 16x pipes i doubt you can RMA it. :(
 
Have you had a decrease in performance since it happened?

If it starts to happen more frequently, then I'd RMA it.
 
Nope, it's been fine ever since I got it. I'll see if there's any new drivers out and update to see if that helps at all.

I may stick the air cooler back on for a bit to see if that makes any difference.

It's on water at the moment.

It's been running at stock for at least 4 months now so I don't think it's that tbh.
 
Hmm, you seem to have just changed the cooling on the card and is now displaying sparklies.... my bet is that you have not got as good a solution as you think. Check the card temps, and if it seems hotter then have another go at reseating the water block.

Nope, I didn't re-lock them.

I went into RiviaTuner and it said that it's running at stock.
 
I've just been on BF2 for a bit on single player and it was totally fine.

Now I've no idea if it's borked or not. Haha.

I'll join a multiplater now.

I played BF2 for about an hour with a few mates and it was totally fine. I really don't know what's up! :confused:

Hopefully it's sorted out now.
 
Could have been a PSU issue, sometimes happens to my 9600XT, just make sure everything is connected to your Motherboard correctly and that your GFX card is in it's slot correctly. Just make sure.

I've taken the power connnector out and given it a blow to get any dust out I also re-seated the card.

Had a nother few hours on BF2 and had no problems, it looks like it was a one off thing which has made me happy. :)
