Is my gpu peaking too high at max temp?

hey guys,

just been in a CS session there for a couple of hours, my temps are higher than i was expecting. the CPU maxed out at 61c on the AIO cooler. and the gpu was 82c

i have adjusted the fan curve to kick in sooner, but just want to know if my AMD card is ok at that temp, or is that a major problem.

the temps have totally changed since my new case. i have less fans and the space inside is smaller to work with too

Thats perfectly normaly for a 290, theyre powerful cards and burn a lot of juice :)

If your in the UK i imagine its also quite warm too atm, so that doesnt help.

so that temp is ok? what would you say BluD is the absolute max temp? and how about the CPU? one core (which was highest) was the 61c mark, the others below 60c.

im in scotland, so the temps are quite cool actually :(

I would think it would be safe right into the early 90s as a lot of them hit that at stock speed but i would adjust your fan profile to keep it in the low 80s. Sounds like youve already done that so your all good.

Cpu is good till mid 80s also but on an AIO cooler you probably wont see it get much past 70 even with a big overclock on it.
