I am running win 7;ssd m4; 8ram 1600; i5 3570 and 7850 oc a bit on air and hitting: P7657 in 3d mark11

Looking at tomshardware that is the 7970 territory!

P score doesn't mean squat, look at graphics scores, a stock 7970 should be around 9500 graphics score.

A low end cpu can bring a P score right down.

The P score is a combined score, its the graphics score that counts in this instance and yours is where it should be (below a 7950).
