My PC has been running perfectly since I built it just over a year ago however now it wont power up unless I switch the PSU off using its switch on the back and unplugging the power lead for about 5 minutes, then plugging it back in and switching on and starting the PC normally with the power button on the front. Once it's on it runs perfectly but I don't know whether it's the MB or PSU and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. The PSU is a Corsair HX1000I and the MB is an Asus Strix Z790-F with a 4090 and 13900K. I tried the paperclip method to test the PSU and the fans come on ok and I looked for anything that might be shorting the MB but it also looks ok. I tried the power switch on the MB but it doesn't work either and unless I physically unplug the power cable from the back of the PSU it wont start even if the power lead is unplugged from the wall. I'm starting to think it's haunted or something and just trying to p**s me off!
