Is my i5 ok?

I recently brought a bought an i5 processor from overclockers and when I opened the box there were some smudge marks on the top of the case. This is my first build and I have been told that the processor is one of the most delicate parts. I was wondering if this was ok:

Yes it will be fine. Looks like a smudge of thermal paste, probably when it was removed after they finished testing it in production perhaps.
