Is my iTouch's Headphone Jack messed up?

Hi,

I recently have experienced that sometimes if i push my headphones plugged into my iTouch, you cant hear the sound from the left side.... i mean its not a big problem.. but does it mean that the headphone jack is going to fail on me?

I paid a lot of money for it + warranty is gone, I bought the 32GB version in Feb last year.. so is there anywhere i can go to replace it or fix it, besides apple?

Anyone got any ideas? Don't want it to be a dead thread... I'm sure someone has experienced this.

Tried any other headphones with it? Could just be a fault with the headphones.

Probably a lose connection in the 3.5mm jack of the headphones.

Check another pair in the iPod, just incase

Yea thanks for the replies, that was the first thing i tried... well i tried plugging in my speakers to the iPod, still the same problem... i just don't want it to go worse overtime...

Check the socket for fluff, same thing happened with my iphone, removing the lint fixed it.

happened to my Touch too - got worse and worse, then I sprayed some compressed air into the jack and it sorted it, so most likely some pocket fluff in there.
