I have recently purchased a Dell XPS17 laptop with the i7 2670QM processor.
I am looking at buying a Black Magic Intensity Shuttle capture card, however I have read stories that it has very strange USB3 requirements, needing the Gen 2 version of USB3.0 in order to work.
Can anyone tell me if my laptop has the requirements that will allow me to use the Shuttle?
I am not near the laptop right now so I won't be able to check any software specs on it, however I have read that the Shuttle works on the XPS17 as long as it has the Sandy Bridge chipset. Is my MoBo a Sandy Bridge chipset?
