My internet has felt a bit slow lately, so I had a look in the router to see whats up with it. I had a stable 8meg sync (with IDNet), but now interleaving seems to have switched itself on, and my downstream snr has dropped from 13 to 11 (only mild I know). I tried to download a linux iso earlier from an ftp site - the other people who downloaded it said they pulled 1200k/s from it (10meg cable) whereas mine seemed to stick at bang on 60k/s. A dodgy BRAS profile perhaps? I checked further into the router and I have 0 Near end errors, and about 46million (!) far end errors - I guess the routers been up about a week maybe?
Before I ring up IDNet, is there anything else I should look into so I can resolve this fairly quickly, and is this a common symptom of a certain type of problem? Thanks.
