Is My Mac Pro Returning again to the Apple?

so my Mac Pro was working fine up to till i installed Opensuse in A Virtual Machine i heard a clunking sound after that turns out my DVD Drive is opening but the shutter is not.

so i ask it open then it opens closes and carries on doing a funky jitter dance. i reboot. it carries on. i ask it close. it does a jitter i reboot.

now its not detected by the OS.

I can not close it any more any ideas?

Do i have to take it back for a third time?

First GFX card died
2nd Fans Died
3rd DVD DRive??

Mine sometimes does that, it's as though the cover doesn't open quickly enough. If it happens I release the cover manually. When I can get around to it I'm going to book it in to get it done.

No, I don't think that's ever been a problem, not even after I flashed it to region free

it was fixed by a full shutdown. a restart didnt fix it

MacBook Pro has always worked and now my Mac Pro works after the audio bug was fixed, changing the DVI cable so it doesn't flicker and buying an external bluetooth cable.

Hunky dorey here now, finally

I'd take the drive out and have a look at it.

Best case scenario is there is/was a loose connector
