I've invested in 8GB (2 x 4GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz to go in my new i5 rig and I'm getting the following according to CPU-Z:

Am I right in saying the DRAM frequency at 798.2MHz is correct - ie. 798.2 x 2 with it being dual channel = the 1600MHz?

The other bit I'm not sure about is the "Max Bandwidth" listed on the 1st pic being "PC3-10700H (667MHz)" - is this a correct reading for my RAM??

Thanks guys, probably stupid questions but if I dont ask I'll never learn!

You are correct about the first bit, since it's DDR (Double Data Rate) memory, you double the base frequency to get the effective memory clock.

You can pretty much ignore the Max Bandwidth thing. Basically there is a set standard for DDR3 memory and anything above that should actually be considered an overclock, but seeing as these chips are tested at the rated settings (PC3-12800, C9 in your case) there won't be any problems.
