Have a X399 AORUS XTREME. Woke my PC up from sleep the other day, no sound came out. Windows showing audio being played so checked my monitors and cabling. Both fine. Front panel audio also fine. Reinstalled all audio drivers on the machine and same issue. Back panel line-out thinks its there but no signal coming out at all. Rest of the on-board sound seems fine. Just plugged the monitors into the front panel and forgot about it because I'd already wasted enough time.

Now I'm half-way through working on something this morning when suddenly the ethernet stops working. Just the 10 GbE port, the two 1 GbE ports seem fine. Says "network cable unplugged" despite the cable still being there as it has been constantly for the last two years. Other network cables and other connected devices don't change a thing. Is it a coincidence that the 10 GbE port is also quite near the line-out?

Never seen things spontaneously stop working like this. Is there any other troubleshooting I can do? Is the whole mobo just slowly dying?

/\/\ This. I'd also boot from a USB drive with a Linux ISO on it to eliminate any motherboard hardware issues. I'd also make sure that you have the latest bios installed.
