Is my monitor broken?

I've been having a reoccuring problem with my build recently, since I put it together and set it all up, when turned on, the computer starts but my monitor tells me that "there's no video input" and doesn't show anything. This happens with both my graphics card (amd6850) and my motherboards onboard video (asus P5G41T socket 775)...after calling tech support last week they told me to send my motherboard in as it may be faulty, after doing so I recieved my new one today, but my probelm persists, does this mean that my montior is infact broken?

Could be. Could be the cable itself or the end of the cable (bent pins). Best bet is to test the computer with another monitor and rule that out.

have you tried the monitor with another input source?
